Hotel Amano, London

Opening in Spring 2022, The Amano is the first UK venue for the Berlin-based Amano Hotel chain. The German boutique brand promises to bring the edgy Berlin vibes into the vibrant setting of Drury Lane, Covent Garden. The hotel boasts 141 rooms, a modern sky bar and rooftop terrace housing DJs at the weekend.

With sophisticated interiors and impressive views in a central location, this hotel will be best for private dinners, incentives and small to medium events.

Virgin Hotel Edinburgh

The first Virgin Hotel to grace the UK and Europe is the Virgin Hotel Edinburgh. Located in the landmark India Buildings in Edinburgh’s Old Town, near the Royal Mile, the location couldn’t be better.

This hotel will shake up the iconic city with interior stylings mixing up old and new to reflect the city’s eclectic and energetic style.

The space will house multiple dining and drinking outlets, the trademark Commons Club and 222 bedrooms, making the Virgin Hotel Edinburgh an ideal base for multiple events, from corporate travel incentives to meetings, conferences and banqueting.

Virgin Hotel Glasgow

The second Virgin Hotel to open outside the US will be the Virgin Hotel Glasgow. This hotel is already causing a stir and is one of the most highly anticipated openings of the year, boasting stunning views over the River Clyde and a central location for city adventures.

The venue ticks all the boxes with an impressive 242 bedrooms, executive meeting and event space, and multiple drinks and dining outlets. Dining options will include Virgin Hotels’ flagship restaurant Commons Club and Funny Library Coffee Shop, which combines games and books with great coffee and treats.

Opening in late Spring, The Virgin Hotel Glasgow will work best for medium-sized events, conferences, dinners, and incentive trips.

Broadwick Soho, London

Opening in the Autumn of 2022, the independent boutique hotel Broadwick Soho will be the first London hotel for designer Martin Brudnizki. Brudnizki describes the hotel as “your eccentric grandmother’s Soho townhouse”, with design inspiration coming from the ‘gritty glamour, but also eclectic and diverse history of Soho’. You may be more aware of Brudnizki’s design work in opulent London restaurants such as The Ivy, Sexy Fish and Le Caprice.

Featuring 57 elite bedrooms, a rooftop cocktail bar and dining concepts from the masterminds of Jamie Poulton and chef Ed Baines, the hotel will be an exquisite venue for small to medium-sized high-end banqueting experiences.

1Hotel Mayfair– Sustainable 

The sustainably focused hotel brand, 1 Hotels, will debut their flagship UK venue in 2022. Converting part of an existing building to reduce energy use and site waste, the 1 Hotel Mayfair will overlook Green Park.

The hotel concept is to promote luxury living in a more sustainable way. Setting a standard for a new type of experience, the hotel aims to bring local communities, guests, and connections together.

In nine meticulously planned levels, the hotel will house 184 bedrooms, a farm to table restaurant with garden seating, a fitness and wellness centre, conference facilities and a communal bar to enthuse gatherings in a social environment.

This hotel will draw sustainably conscious guests who want pure luxury without guilt, providing an idyllic backdrop for environmentally conscious businesses looking to host events, conferences, private dinners and incentive trips.

Raffles London at The OWO 

This year, Raffles Hotels and Resorts introduces two exclusive venues at the iconic Old War Office building. They open their UK flagship hotel and will give the grade II listed Edwardian baroque landmark a new release of life.

Situated in the heart of London on Whitehall, opposite Horse Guards, the building is steeped in history and will draw history enthusiasts from all corners of the globe. The hotel will offer 120 rooms and 85 residences, 11 restaurants and bars, wellness space, rooftop restaurant and bar, and a 620 seated-capacity grand ballroom.

This transformative journey will see the location become the ultimate space for an array of events ranging from high-end dining experiences to large banquets and conferences.

Gleneagles Townhouse, Edinburgh

Gleneagles is venturing into the hustle and bustle of Edinburgh city, with its first townhouse hotel featuring a roof terrace, members club, restaurant and 33 bedrooms and suites.

Aiming to mirror the iconic Gleneagles hotel, the Townhouse is “a place to gather and be glorious” and will bring luxury and class like no other.

The Counting Room provides an intimate setting for formal meetings and private celebrations up to ten people seated, and the Telling Rooms provide an office away from the office.

The hotel will also have a stylish spa fitted with a cryotherapy chamber and infrared sauna, which would make the property ideal for high-end incentives for small groups.

The Retreat, Elcot Park, Berkshire

Set within 16 acres of rolling land and walled gardens, you will find The Retreat at Elcot Park.

Housed in a Grade II-listed 18th-century building dating back to 1772, The Retreat will comprise 55 individually styled bedrooms with magnificent grounds.

The former home of poet Percy Bysshe Shelley offers a tranquil setting for rest and recuperation. Alongside the event space, there are two on-site restaurants, hydrotherapy pools, tennis courts, an outdoor infinity pool and croquet lawns.

The Retreat will be ideal for team building events and company away days where you can treat guests to the luxury Elcot Park.

Hotel La Tour

Reaching an impressive 14 stories high in the centre of Milton Keynes, Hotel La Tour has undergone a £39 million investment and is soon to open in April 2022.

A glass lift provides a breathtaking visual experience of Campbell Park as guests travel to the top floors and a 30m high, LED-lit stainless steel ‘sun’ that will align with the sun on the longest day of the year.

The luxurious hotel hosts 14,000 sqft of versatile event space, a 14th-floor restaurant and sky bar offering the highest viewpoint in the city, and 261 bedrooms. We predict the Hotel La Tour to be a popular venue for medium to large events with features like this.

Fairmont Windsor Park

The Fairmont Windsor Park is an elegant retreat set within 4,800 acres of land and can host an array of corporate events, such as team building, conferences, and company away days. Situated just outside of London, the Fairmont is an ideal commuter location but offers the relaxation of the Berkshire countryside right on the doorstep.

The facilities focus on well-being and include a spa complete with 18 treatment rooms, a six-person hammam, and a cryotherapy chamber. The pillar free ballroom can cater to events for up to 700 guests, plus 14 additional event spaces. With all these facilities and a convenient location, The Fairmont will be a top contender for 2022.
